1、 Printer driver issues
Sometimes we encounter: Win10 printer driver cannot be used, how should we solve it? The operation steps are as follows:
Step 1: Simultaneously press [Win+R] and enter [devmgmt.msc] to open the device manager. Right click on the problematic printer in the printer queue;
Step 2: Select Update Driver. If you have already downloaded the driver, select the second item in the picture. If you haven’t downloaded the latest driver, you can choose [Automatically search for updated driver software].
2、 Windows features
What other methods are there besides the first one? Win10 cannot search for shared printers? The operation steps are as follows:
Step 1: Press 【 Win+i 】 to open the Windows settings window, click 【 Application 】 in the lower right corner of the interface;
Step 2: First click on “Applications and Features” on the left side of the page, then find and click on “Programs and Features” in the drop-down menu on the right side;
Step 3: Select “Enable or disable Windows features”, find and select “SMB 1.0/CIFS file sharing support” in the pop-up window, and wait for completion.
3、 Win10 update issue
Can you check for updates to Win10? Windows cannot connect to the printer for local printing? The operation steps are as follows:
Step 1: Open the 【 Control Panel 】 and select 【 Uninstall Program 】 under the program. On the left side of the open window, click [View Installed Updates];
Step 2: In the open window, uninstall the update. Select from the list and then click [Uninstall or Change]. At this point, the system will list the installed updates, right-click on the update you want to remove, and then click Uninstall. Try uninstalling and restarting the patch in the shared host of the printer again.
